Oleg Cernavin is a sociologist and, for 30 years, was the managing partner of BC GmbH Forschungs- und Beratungsgesellschaft in Wiesbaden, a company he founded himself. During these 30 years, he led more than 20 national research projects on the topics of preventive work and organisation design as well as service and transfer research.
In 2018, he co-founded the Mittelstand-Gesellschaft-Verantwortung foundation in Heidelberg and, since then, has been the chairman of the executive board. The foundation is the patron of the Offensive Mittelstand (OM), a national transfer network of intermediary organisations with the goal of providing more effective advice for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The organisations taking part in OM represent more than 200,000 consultants. One of the foundation’s primary objectives is to more effectively implement the results of the innovative occupational research in the regions into the everyday actions of the stakeholders at SMEs as well as consultants.
In addition, Oleg Cernavin has authored numerous trade publications and textbooks.
